Retreating Storm, Isle of Harris

from £195.00

The first visit to a new location always holds something special. I had travelled to the Isle of Harris with high expectations after many fellow photographers had recommended visiting. In fact I had wanted to go for 10 years ever since seeing a BBC nature program based on the Isles. It didn’t disappoint and this photo sums up the transition from a storm I had encountered over the last two days.

I alway aim for an image I produce to evoke an emotion in myself and the viewer. This image, like many other, will create different emotions in different viewers. For me it is about the passing of the weather. I remember how the colour changed so vividly as the clouds passed over. An incredible sight to behold.

Passing Storm, Isle of Harris

This image is printed on Fotospeed NST bright White 315gsm paper and looks amazing. It is part of a limited edition of 50 in A3, 10 in A2 and A1. It looks incredible when printed big as it was taken with my Nikon Z7 45MP camera.
