Landscape Photography in Overcast Conditions

Here is a wider selection of the images that I shot in Glen Affric, Scotland. It was a fairly overcast day with almost no direct light. I concentrated on shooting form and texture

I was here with my good friend and videographer, Rick to create a few tutorial videos for YouTube. It is a location that I have dreamed of visiting for some time and having been there can’t wait to return.

This glimpse of the snow capped mountain added depth

The day stayed fairly overcast with just a small change in the cloud cover for a brief moment which I managed to capture on the image below.

The strong form of the trees and diagonals of the mountains create a visually appealing shot
